Sankei Kogyo New Building
Offices Compatible with ZEB Ready
As the new office building for Sankei Kogyo, in addition to a new wood processing facility, the Knowledge Room was planned as a space for learning activities such as workshops and product development.
This office is ZEB Ready compliant, incorporating energy-saving measures using solar power and geothermal energy.
A ceiling crane is installed in the central void area on the first floor, serving as a space for sample verification of fabricated items, including the assembly of large manufactured products and temporary assembly of items to be placed in the void space.
On the second floor, we have introduced woodworking machinery, venturing into a new area where, in addition to conventional metal products, we can now fabricate woodworking products such as furniture.
Achieving visualization of energy consumption
Additionally, we have collaborated with specialized engineers to create an original system that visualizes the energy usage of the ZEB-ready Knowledge Room.
This space serves as a unique “place” where various people, information, wisdom, and knowledge come together to generate new things and technologies.
